The Synnovis state-of-the-art hub laboratory in Blackfriars Road, London, is at the heart of a programme to deliver and transform pathology services in south east London.

One of the largest, purpose-built pathology laboratories in the UK, this world-class facility is filled with cutting-edge technology and will process around 70 per cent of all pathology activity currently conducted by Synnovis, serving a patient population of almost two million.

At the heart of the new facility is a Telelift Unicar Electric Track Vehicle installation designed, supplied and installed by Quirepace to deliver bulk samples from the ground floor reception area to the various floors of the building. In this case, the installation uses the Telelift Labcar vehicle which smoothly transports racked samples while keeping the horizontal throughout the transport process.
